Join Sarah  for a creative exploration of watercolours at the Sarah Horne Academy. Coming to watercolour from a background in drawing, Sarah brings a unique approach to this beautiful and expressive medium.

Throughout the course, Sarah will guide you through a series of relaxed, practical sessions where you’ll learn to build confidence with brushwork, colour layering, and tonal techniques — often using drawing-based exercises to unlock your personal style.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to expand your creative toolkit, this course celebrates playful experimentation and encourages you to see watercolour in a fresh, accessible way.

What you’ll explore:

                        Composition,layering,tone and Sarahs own style of detailing

                        Drawing-led approaches to watercolour

                        Tips for combining ink and watercolour for striking effects

Come and discover your creative voice with Sarah in a welcoming, supportive environment and share the experience of using Sarah’s own extensive collection of Schmincke Horadam watercolour pans
